Salem Theatre is holding open auditions for Larry Kramer's The Normal Heart. 

Auditions will take place at Salem Theatre's black box at 90 Lafayette Street in downtown Salem. 

Tuesday, April 21 and Wednesday, April 22 from 6pm-9pm.

Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. 

Audition slots are one hour long. However, it is unlikely you will be there for an hour. Upon arrival please sign in. Actors will be seen in the order they are ready. Actors will fill out an audition form that will include a tentative rehearsal calendar. Please be prepared with any and all conflicts/availability for the last week of April, all of May and the beginning of June.
The following dates are mandatory. 
Tech week: June 7, 8, 9, 10
Performances: June 11, 12, 13, 14, 18, 19, 20, 21, 25, 26, 27

The Normal Heart is a searing social drama about the indifference to the AIDS epidemic as it was beginning in 1981; and it is about one man's lonely fight to awaken the world to the crisis.
