Sarah Carlin is the daughter of two Broadway and film actors and began her career onstage as a dancer with both the Van Pelt Dance Co. and Five Minds, Inc. After receiving her M.A. in Theatre Education from Ohio State University, she taught drama and directed productions in secondary schools in North and South America and currently runs the theatre program at Shore Country Day School in Beverly. Past credits include The Visit with Marblehead’s Mugford Street Players, The Boys of Winter at Boston Playwrights Theater, and regional theatre credits include Fall River Follies, Merry Wives of Windsor, and The Vagina Monologues.
John Fogle has staged over 70 productions at a variety of venues in the greater Boston area - including the Gloucester Stage Company, the Charles Playhouse, the Lyric Stage, Quannapowitt Players, Theatre-By-The-Sea, Wharf Rat and the Mugford Street Players, which he also serves as Artistic Director. In 1980, he co-founded Salem's Barton Square Playhouse, where he staged numerous productions including Equus, The Gin Game, Sleuth, USA, A Life in the Theatre and Scrooge & Marley. In 1990, John founded Marblehead SummerStage, where he helmed Harvey, Our Town, Marathon '33, The Dining Room and Talley's Folly. He is past President of the Board of the Salem Theatre Company, where he has directed their premiere production, The Complete History of America (abridged), plus The Crucible (twice), Molly Sweeney, and, most recently, The Memory of Water. He just tackled his first musical, Blood Brothers, for Marblehead Little Theatre. On three occasions, productions under his direction have taken "Best Production" award at the EMACT Drama Festival and have twice been cited as "One of the Year's Ten Best" by the Boston Phoenix. John currently serves as the Artistic Director of the Salem Theatre Company.


Gary LaParl has worked as a professional actor and studied with Kyle Donnelly (Old Globe, Arena Stage), Jeff Perry (Steppenwolf ), and Aaron Posner (Folger Shakespeare Library, Two River Theatre Company). Gary has worked with Arden Theater Company in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Shakespeare Company, Boston Playwrights Theatre and the Huntington Theatre Company to name just a few. He was also a member of Chicago’s Passage Theatre Ensemble. Gary currently serves as the Executive Director for the Salem Theatre Company.
