STC's Reckless by Craig Lucas, begins innocently enough with visions of puppies and children all snug in their beds on a snowy Christmas Eve. Suddenly Rachel (a housewife and heroine of our story played by Nancy Gahagan of Lexington) is forced out into the snow where she embarks on a crazy ten-year journey to discover the true meaning of Christmas. Reckless, a richly inventive and often startling comedy filled with bizarre characters and events. The production is directed by STC Artistic Director, John Fogle.
In addition to Ms. Gahagan, the cast includes Cyndi Geller, Andy Lisle, Mitch Kyle, Meredith McAlister and Allen Vietzke of Salem, Giovanni Alabiso of Peabody, J. Garner Redmond of Boston and Julie Cleveland of Gloucester. Production staff includes Ariane Grossi and Linda Ross of Salem, and Jean Fogle, John Fogle, and Gregory Mancusi-Ungaro of Marblehead.
