STC SUMMER CAMP
MUSICAL THEATRE WORKSHOP

MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY, 9AM - 3PM
The STC Summer Camp offers high caliber training for growing musical theatre artists in grades 7 through 12. The program provides a comfortable and welcoming environment for students to develop their talents as they learn the art of theatre. Over the course of the two weeks, students will learn acting skills from improv to Shakespeare as well as try their hand at dialects and learn how to prepare for an audition. Students will also build their vocal repertoire. and learn a variety of vocal techniques from warmups to how-to’s for maintaing a healthy voice. Not only will they have one on one coaching, they will also build the skills for singing with an ensemble. Additionally, students will develop their experience in musical theater dance from tap to jazz, Fosse to lyrical, they will build their skills through musical theater show-stoppers. The program will be led by STC Executive Director Catherine Bertrand, and local theatre educators Katie Donovan and Jake O'Hara. Click here for bios.
Tuition includes snacks and beverages but students should pack a lunch each day. Deadline for registration is July 11. However, we are offering early registration discounts and financial aid is also available. Spots are limited so sign up soon!
